Pentecost University College ‘Stay Clean And Connected With God’ – Apostle Seth Appiah Urges Christians

The 2018 prayer festival dubbed ‘Prayerfest’ climaxed gracefully on Sunday, 28th October, with a call on Christians to stay clean and connected with God at all times.

The annual programme, organized by the Chaplaincy of Pentecost University College, was held at the James McKeown Auditorium. It was attended by a large congregation of staff and students of the university.

The week-long program which began on Tuesday, 23rd October, had people showcasing different talents such as singing, dancing, and Spoken Word in the form of ministrations. The main motive for the festival was to provide a spiritual environment for staff and students to call unto to their Maker with the theme, “Call unto me and I will answer you” (Jeremiah 33:3).  The main speaker for this year’s programme was Apostle Martin Seth Appiah, Obuasi Area Head of The Church of Pentecost.

Preaching at the closing service, Apostle M. S. Appiah outlined 10 keys every Christian must possess to sustain a revival. He carefully taught the congregation about the requirements for staying clean in the Lord as a Christian. “Christians who have been revived must always stay connected with God,” he said. “Once there is a disconnection, everything begins to change and darkness starts to troop in”. He also gave many insights about prayer, likening each insight to incidents that occurred in the Bible or personal testimonies. The service ended with a communion.
