Agribusiness Management is the business of agricultural production which involves the production, protection, sales and marketing of the product to satisfy the customers need.  It includes agrichemicals, breeding, crop production (farming or contract farming), distribution, farm machinery, processing, and seed supply, as well as marketing and retail sales. All agents of the food and fiber value chain and those institutions that influence it are part of the agribusiness system

FOREST RESOURCE TECHNOLOGY DEGREE

The School of Agriculture offers a four-year undergraduate course leading to the BSc. (Honours) Degree in Forest Resource Technology.

BSc. Agribusiness Management Entry Requirement

Science Applicants with the SSSCE/WASSCE certificate ( Science Option), must in addition to credit in the three core subject (English Language, Mathematics and Integrate
Science), obtain credits in THREE (3) Electives: Chemistry plus either Physics or Mathematics and Biology or General Agriculture.

Wassce Applicant

II. Business Applicants with the WASSSCE/WASSEC certificate (Business Option), must in addition to credits in the three core subjects (English language, Mathematics and Integrated Science), obtain credits in THREE (3) Electives: Economics, Accounting, Business
Management, Business Mathematics and Costing or Elective Mathematics. Applicants with this combination must have a minimum of C (for SSSCE applicants) and B3 (for WASSCE Applicants) in Integrated Science.

III. General Arts Applicants with the SSSCE/WASSCE certificate (General Arts Option) must be in addition to credit in the three core subjects (English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science), obtain credits in THREE (3) Electives: Economics, Geography and Elective Mathematics. Applicants with this combination must have a minimum of C (for SSSCE applicants) and B3 (for WASSCE Applicants) in Integrated Science.

IV. General Agriculture Applicants with the SSSCE/WASSCE certificate (General Agriculture Option), must in addition to credit in the three core subject (English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science), obtain credits in THREE (3) Electives: Chemistry plus either Physics or Mathematics and Biology or General Agriculture or Crop and Horticulture or Forestry or Fisheries.
