The programme is designed for students with a first degree in any discipline, who wish to enroll on the LL.B programme with the intention of possibly becoming lawyers in the future. It is a rigorous one and prepares students for admission to the professional training. This is an evening programme and therefore allows adequate time for day time preparation.

The minimum requirements for admission are as follows:

A bachelor’s degree in any discipline from an approved/recognized university with a minimum of Second Class (Lower Division); OR

A professional chartered qualification such as ACCA, ICA, ICSA, CIPS and CIMA; and

Successfully passing and being shortlisted in an entrance examination and a qualifying interview

Prospective students wishing to apply for the evening stream must have obtained a minimum credit Pass of three core and three electives including English and Mathematics. Due to the limited spaces, admission standards are high and admission is unfortunately given to only a limited number of qualified applicants.
