Metropolitan/Municipal Administration At University Of Ghana
The purpose of the course is to introduce major issues in urban politics and related trends and
problems in urban administration. The course is organised as a seminar and will cover themes like
urbanization; the concept of urban administration; the history and evolution of urban administration;
administering urban development in the 21st Century; legal and institutional framework for urban
administration; stakeholders in urban administration; community participation; and the local
government-urban administration interface.
