Kasem is an indirect Quranic name for boys that means “one who shares/distributes something among people”, “giver”, “generous”, “handsome”.

Entry Requirement:
WASSCE/SSSCE Certificate Holders
A total aggregate of 36 or better (WASSCE) or 24 or better (SSSCE) as follows:
i.Credit passes (WASSCE A1-C6 or SSSCE A-D) in three (3) Core Subjects: English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science or Social Studies; plus
ii.Credit passes (WASSCE A1-C6 or SSSCE A-D) in a Northern Language: Kasem and two other elective subjects.
Mature Applicants
i.Must be at least 25 years by 1st August of the year one wants to enroll.
ii. Must hold Teacher’s Certificate or GCE/SSSCE/WASSCE Certificate or a Certificate of Professional Training in a relevant field from a recognized Institution.
iii.Must pass the UEW Entrance Examination.
Note: All applicants who would be admitted would have the option of picking a minor programme (English or French) based on their qualifications.
No prerequisite knowledge is needed for admitted students who want to take Linguistics and German.
