Soil science is the study of soil as a natural resource on the surface of the Earth including soil formation, classification and mapping; physical, chemical, biological, and fertility properties of soils, and these properties in relation to the use and management of soils.

MPhil Soil Science Degree.

Masters Programmes (Full-Time) are of Two (2) Calendar Years and
(Part-Time) Three (3) Calendar Years duration.

MPhil Soil Science At KNUST Entry Requirement.

A Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or related discipline from a recognised
university is required for MPhil degree in the Department. Preference is
given to applicants with First or Second Class (Upper Division) degrees.
