Ga-dangme Education
Programme objectives
The main aim of programmes are to produce trained graduate teachers with the requisite language and cultural orientation to be capable of teaching the Languages efficiently and effectively at the various levels of pre-tertiary institutions in Ghana. The objectives of the programme, it is to train students to:
- Appreciate their languages and culture and have a clear understanding of the values of their rich language and cultural heritage.
- Have self-actualization, realize the potentials of the Ghanaian Languages and also have the ability and capacity to innovate and preserve culture.
- Have the ability and capacity to develop literature in the Ghanaian Language and teach effectively, all aspects of the Ghanaian Language at pre-tertiary institutions in Ghana.
