KNUST : Election of Pro Vice-Chancellor
IT is announced for the information of Members of Convocation that the Office of the Pro Vice-Chancellor shall become vacant on September 30, 2016. The Vice-Chancellor has, in accordance with Statute 13(b), nominated the following persons for the position of Pro Vice-Chancellor of the University:
- PROFESSOR Samuel KWOFIE, Department of Materials Engineering
- PROFESSOR Charles ANSAH, Department of Pharmacology
- PROFESSOR Daniel K B INKOOM, Department of Planning
Accordingly, Convocation shall vote on the three nominees and the names of the two persons with the highest number of votes shall be submitted to Council, which shall appoint one as Pro Vice-Chancellor.
The Dates and times for the Election are as follows:
DATE: TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 20, 2016
TIME: 0800 HOURS-1400 HOURS
VENUE: AT THE GREAT HALL
Any Member of Convocation who wishes to VOTE BY PROXY shall PERSONALLY collect a Proxy Form from the Registrar’s Office. The completed Form shall be submitted to the Returning Officer (Registrar) not later than 1600 hours, Monday, September 19, 2016. A Copy of the Proxy shall be given to the person nominated, and shall be presented at the time of voting, failing which the said Proxy shall be deemed invalid. No proxies shall be given to any candidate.
