GIMPA identified that the need for advanced Information Technology skills to meet the demands of today’s world and adapt to future technology advancements has been a major challenge to most organizations in recent times. Ghana’s public sector is not exceptional. The public sector employee must learn to use information technology as a tool for organization, communication, management, and problem solving. To meet this demand, GIMPA established an Information Technology professional training wing (Centre for IT Professional Development).

CENTRE FOR IT PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT, GIMPA (CIPD-GIMPA) is an IT based institution that provides quality IT trainings to professionals and even people who are willing to get into IT. The Centre was created in 2005, with the aim of providing IT training and produce very innovative personnel that can help provide appropriate business solution to private and public institutions.
The Centre has considerable depth of capabilities and expertise in delivering Information Technology programmes in Ghana and the wider West African sub-region, and can provide the highest quality services required under this contract.
CIPD-GIMPA Instructors – Our lead instructors are active practitioners who either consult for or work full time in business environments where they use the very technologies and skills they teach. On average, instructors have at least five (5) years’ experience and some have over ten (10) years.
