PhD Human Resource Management UGBS

The PhD Human Resource Management is a four-year intensive programme aimed at providing students with solid research training in organisational management and development. It seeks to produce high quality research graduates who have strong understanding of the assumptions and the logic underlying social research. The fundamental goal is to train students in multi-disciplinary perspectives, advanced theoretical models, and frontier methodological and computer-based tools to enable them rigorously address fundamental problems in organisational development, leadership and business management.

Admission Requirements
Admission to the PhD programme will be limited to candidates with a relevant Masters degree from a recognised university. In situations where a candidate is judged to be deficient especially in respect to core theoretical issues, the candidate may be required to register first for the MPhil Human Resource Management programme, and take appropriate courses to remedy the deficiency.
