B.Sc Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) is an Undergraduate Program offered by Amrita Center for Allied Health Sciences. Medical Laboratory Technology is an Allied Health specialty concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases through the use of clinical laboratory tests.

Entry Requirements
- WASSCE/SSSCE APPLICANTS
Applicants must possess:
Credits (A1-C6/ A-D Respectively) in the following Three (3) Core Subjects: English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science plus credits (A1-C6) in Three Elective subjects namely, Biology, Chemistry and Physics or Mathematics.
Applicants with Diploma/Certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology with at least one year post qualification experience shall be interviewed.
2. ADVANCED LEVEL APPLICANTS
Applicants must possess:
Credits in Five (5) subjects at the GCE ‘O’ Level including English Language and Mathematics, plus three (3) passes in Biology, Chemistry and Physics or Mathematics obtained at the Advanced Level.
3. MATURE APPLICANTS
Applicants should have attained the age of 25 years or above at the time of submitting the application and must possess:
i. Credits in Five (5) GCE ‘O’ Level subjects including English Language and Mathematics plus three (3) GCE ‘A’ Level passes in Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Mathematics.
OR
ii. Passes in the three (3) SSSCE core subjects namely, English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science plus passes in three (3) SSSCE elective subjects namely, Biology, Chemistry and Physics or Mathematics.
OR
iii. A Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology with at least one (1) year post qualification experience and must pass an interview. Successful applicants will be placed in the second year to do a top-up in the programme.
iv. University Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology with two (2) years post-qualification experience and must pass an interview. Successful applicants will be placed in the third (3rd) year to do a top-up in the programme.
OR
v. Ministry of Health Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology with two (2) years post-qualification experience and must pass an interview. Successful applicants will be placed in the second (2nd) year to do a top-up in the programme.
OR
vi. HND in Science Laboratory Technology with two (2) years post-qualification experience and must pass
an interview. Successful applicants will be placed in the second (2nd) year to do a top-up in the programme.
