PhD Accounting

The PhD in Accounting programme is a 3-year intensive research programme in the Department of Accounting. PhD candidates can be admitted at any time of the year. Students who do not have a background in Accounting or related fields will be required to take relevant MPHIL courses in Accounting in the first year before embarking on developing their PhD proposals and eventually writing their PhD theses.

Admission Requirements
A relevant Masters degree in Accounting from a recognised university is required. An entrance examination or interview may be conducted.
