We are old but the most infant faculty in the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources on the KNUST campus.The Faculty evolved from a three year combined Agriculture and Forestry course started at the Cadbury Hall (Kumasi) in 1922 to Forestry School in 1936. It was upgraded to a degree running programme BSc Forest Resources Technology in 2006

The School of Agriculture offers a four-year undergraduate course leading to the BSc. (Honours) Degree in Forest Resource Technology.

Bachelor BSc Forest Resource Technology At KNUST Entry Requirement

FIVE (5) credits at O’ Level including Mathematics and English Language plus THREE (3) A Level passes in Chemistry, Physics and any one of the following: Biology, Agricultural Science and Mathematics.

O level Applicant

Applicants with Agricultural Science or Mathematics must have a credit in O’ Level Biology.

Mature Applicant

Applicants must have attained the age of 25 years at the time of submitting the Application Forms.
EITHER
FIVE (5) credits at O’ Level including English Language and Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry
and Physics,

OR
Applicants must have a Diploma from KNUST or from a recognized institution.

OR
Wassce Applicant

Credits in WASSCE/SSSCE Core Subjects (English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science), plus THREE (3) Electives in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics or Elective Mathematics or General Agriculture. Short-listed applicants must pass an interview.
