Ph. D – Mathematics Education At UEW

In contemporary education, mathematics education is the practice of teaching and learning mathematics, along with the associated scholarly research.

Below are the entry requirement

Applicants should possess:

a) A researched Master’s Degree in the relevant field of study from an accredited institution.

b) A Cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.0 or above in the course offered at the Master’s level.

c) At least grade “B” in the dissertation presented for the Master’s degree.

Applicants who wish to offer a Ph.D. in Mathematics Education and Ph.D. in Science Education must hold a Research master’s degree in Mathematics Education and Science Education respectively.
