Executive Master of Governance and Leadership(EMGL)

The Executive Masters programmes are specially designed to equip participants with knowledge, attitude and skills required by Chief Executive and Administrators to effectively meet the leadership, management and administration challenges of the global situation.

OBJECTIVE
The specific objectives of the programme are:

  • Achieve the highest professional standards in management, administration and leadership.
  • Equip graduates with specialized knowledge and skills to play a meaningful role in management and
  • Provide professional leadership in government, public and private sectors of the economy as well as the NGOs;
  • Provide adequate response to the managerial, administrative and leadership requirements of government and industry;
  • Meet the demands and aspirations for continuing education of serving employees in public and private Sector organisations.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR EMPA/EMGL

  • A Bachelor’s degree from any approved/recognized university with at least a second class lower division.
  • Applicants must be professionals or have a Postgraduate Diploma in the relevant Field of study with five (5) years working experience. Such applicant should be at least 35 years of age at the time of submitting application.
  • A first degree at the level of Third Class and a Postgraduate Certificate and Diploma in a related field with some prescribed experience.

START DATE: August every year.

DURATION: Two years
