PhD Vegetable Crops Production At KNUST

Vegetable farming is a type of crop production intended primarily for human consumption of the crop’s edible parts such as the shoot, leaves, fruits, and roots. According to the consume part of the crop, vegetables are divided into the following groups: Leaf vegetables (lettuce, cabbage, spinach).

PhD Vegetable Crops Production Degree.

PhD Programmes (Full-Time) are of Four (4) Calendar Years and (PartTime) are of Five (5) Calendar Years duration.

PhD Vegetable Crops Production At KNUST Entry Requirement.

Candidates applying for Doctor of Philosophy degree must have a
Master’s degree or its equivalent in the relevant field of study, including
Horticulture, Agronomy, Biological/ Environmental Science, Postharvest
Technology, Food Science, Biochemistry or related disciplines from
KNUST or any recognised University and shall submit evidence of adequate
training and ability to undertake proposed programme. Candidates with degrees in Architecture, Planning, Geography, Fine Art, Civil Engineering and Building Technology may also be considered for programmes in Landscape Studies only.
