Overview
MSc Technology and Development is designed to train students to gain in-depth understanding of the role of technology and technological change in the process of economic growth as well as its management. The programme also seeks to train students to introduce innovation as a matter of routine in their workplaces, whether they move directly into private sector employment, or into the ministries, departments, agencies, and NGOs. The programme is designed to:- Introduce students to the role of technology in national and international development and competitiveness;
- Develop the capacity of students to enable them incorporate technological change into national socioeconomic plans;
- Produce graduates who can assist individual firms to generate innovations in their processes of technological and managerial development;
- Develop partnerships with industry to promote technological change and innovativeness
Admission Requirements :Relevant first Degree in Economics or related programme, with a minimum class of Second Class Lower
