PhD Agronomy At KNUST

Agronomy is the science and technology of producing and using plants in agriculture for food, fuel, fiber, and land restoration.

PhD Agronomy Degree.

PhD Programmes (Full-Time) are of Four (4) Calendar Years and (PartTime) are of Five (5) Calendar Years duration.

PhD Agronomy At KNUST Entry Requirement.

PhD – Candidates applying for Doctor of Philosophy degree must have a
Master’s degree or its equivalent in the relevant field of study, including
Horticulture, Agronomy, Biological/ Environmental Science, Postharvest
Technology, Food Science, Biochemistry or related disciplines from
KNUST or any recognised University and shall submit evidence of adequate
training and ability to undertake proposed programme.
Candidates with degrees in Architecture, Planning, Geography, Fine Art,
Civil Engineering and Building Technology may also be considered for
programmes in Landscape Studies only.
