About Family Health Medical School

FAMILY HEALTH MEDICAL SCHOOL is the first private medical school in Ghana.

The aims and objectives of the school include

-To train Medical Doctors who will provide good medical care services;
-To improve the doctor/patient ratio in the country;
-Address the shortage of critical health personnel;
-To create vacancies for prospective Ghanaian and foreign nationals who want to pursue Medical training in Ghana.
-Replace existing medical personnel who are leaving active service due to attrition

To be the prime centre for professional medical education and training by 2020 and beyond.

Mission

To develop fully the professional potential of persons engaged in the practice of medicine by enhancing their knowledge and skills through education and training and recognizing with appropriate qualifications those who achieve the required standards in medical professional practice.
