The Travel and Tour industry is the fastest growing industry in the World. Traveling is a part of people’s lives in the world. Day in and out, people travel for leisure, business, visit, touristic mission and any other activities depending on the client’s interest.

COURSES AND DESCRIPTION

1. TRAVEL & TOURISM
Our Travel and Tourism course is an internationally awarded DIPLOMA (IATA/UFTAA). It has therefore been designed to all who would like to work in a Travel & Tour agency as a travel agent or tour operator. It is also suited for those who would eventually open a Travel & Tour Agency or would like to work in the Airline Industry as a Ticketing Agent.

This course is in three levels:

1a. IATA/UFTAA TRAVEL & TOURISM (Foundation Level)
This is designed for those with little or no knowledge in the travel industry and will want to work in the travel industry as travel agents or tour operators.
Duration: 6 Months

1b. IATA/UFTAA TRAVEL & TOURISM (Consultant Level)
This course is designed to train applicants to:
·         Handle all major aspects of the travel agency business
·         Provide accurate advice to clients on major tourists’ destinations
·         Learn effective selling skills

1c. IATA/UFTAA TRAVEL & TOURISM (MANAGEMENT LEVEL)
This Course will enable students
·         Learn the essential principles and strategies of supervising and managing people
·         Develop customized tours and gain competitive advantage
·         Learn how to plan, organize, and administer meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions
·         Be capable of establishing procedures and control costs
Designed for:
·         Junior management level personnel in all fields of the travel industry
·         Consultant level
·         Mature students with experience in the travel business.
Duration: 5 months
2. HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT
The Hospitality Industry is expanding its boundaries across the world, giving excellent customer care in accommodations, room services and food and beverage services. It is an internationally recognized program designed for all who would like to work as Hoteliers or a Front Office Operators

3. PASSENGER HANDLING
This intensive crash course in passenger services is designed to make you both customer-focused and knowledgeable in the many roles you may fill as a front-line employee. Course topics include customer service best practices, conflict management and the development of other soft skills combined with a review of international passenger and baggage handling standards.

4. CARGO HANDLING
Our courses focus on best practices and change management to help you adapt to the increasingly complex air transport environment. They help you enhance your skills and knowledge in a wide range of relevant topics, such as: regulations, safety, special cargo, strategic management and finance.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
1.      JHS certificate holder
2.      SSCE/WASCE with aggregate 24 or better
3.      GCE O’ Level, A’ level, RSA
4.      Degree/Postgraduate Diploma Holders
5.      Airline, Travel Agencies and Hospitality Personnel who want to upgrade their professional experience
6.      DRESS CODE–FORMAL (to be communicated upon admission)

APPLICATION/ADMISSION PROCESS:
1.      Pick up or download and fill application forms completely
2.      Add two passport pictures
3.      Add copies of certificates
4.      Submit Completed forms and documents to the Administrator, Eaglesflight School of Aviation
5.      Pay admission fee of GHC 100.
6.      Pay required tuition fees upon acceptance and offer of admission.

INTERNSHIPS AND ATTACHMENTS
Attachments and Internships will be based on availability. Letters will be given students to secure internships and attachments with various organizations in the Industry. High performing individuals will have opportunity to do internships at Eaglesflight Ghana limited and/or any of our partner agencies across the country.

PARTNERSHIPS AND STUDY ABROAD
We partner with various International bodies and Institutions. High performing students will have the opportunity to further their courses with any of our International partners. Students can gain admission to study in higher learning institutions abroad after successful completion of their course.
