Entry Requirements

Category A: WASSCE holders

i) Must have six (6) Credit Passes (A1-C6) in WASSCE including three (3) Core Subject: English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science/Social Studies and three (3) Relevant Elective subjects (i.e. the Ghanaian Language to be studied and 2 other electives) or

ii) Must have six (6) credit passes (A-D) in SSSCE including three (3) Core Subject: English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science/Social Studies and three (3) Relevant Elective subjects (i.e. the Ghanaian Language to be studied and 2 other electives)

BMature Applicants

i) Must be at least 25 years by 1st August of the academic year one wants to enrol.

ii) Must hold:

  • Teachers Certificate “A” or
  • SHS/SSS Certificate or Certificate of Professional Training from a recognised Institution.
  • Must pass the University’s Entrance Examination.

Note:

Linguistics and German require no pre-requisite knowledge.

Those who want to offer French on the other hand must have done French at the SHS level. Students who want to do English must have at least C5 in Core English.
