SSSCE/WASSCE Applicants

SSSCE Applicants

Passes (A-D) in three (3) core subjects namely English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science plus credit passes in three (3) relevant elective subjects which must include Elective Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, Economics/ Geography.

WASSCE Applicants

Passes (A-D) in three (3) core subjects namely English Language, Mathematics, and Integrated Science plus credit passes in three (3) relevant elective subjects which must include Elective Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, Economics/ Geography. The aggregate of the six (6) subjects must not exceed 24 for SSSCE and 39 for WASSCE

GBCE/ ‘O’/A’LEVEL Applicants

At least five (5) GBCE /GCE‘O’-Level credit passes or five (5) GBCE passes including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry plus a minimum of two (2) GCE ‘A’ level passes in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry excluding General Paper.

Mature Applicants

Applicants must be twenty-five (25) years old and must show proof of age with birth certificate or any legitimate documentary proof of date of birth which is twenty-five (25) years old at the time of application.

Must pass a written test in English Language, Mathematics and General Knowledge to be conducted by Koforidua Technical University.

The HNC in Civil Engineering (SCQF level 7) develops knowledge and skills in areas such as geotechnics, civil engineering contracts, and project management, construction site surveying, and construction technology (substructure and structural mechanics).
