M. Phil – Arts and Culture At UEW

Arts the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power.

Culture is an umbrella term which encompasses the social behavior and norms found in human societies, as well as the knowledge, beliefs, arts, laws, customs, capabilities, and habits of the individuals in these groups.

Below are the entry requirement

The following are eligible to apply for admission as candidates for the Master of Philosophy programme in Social Studies Education:

i. A good Bachelor’s degree (i.e 2.2 or better) in Social Studies or relevant field of study (Geography, Economics, History, Political Science, Development Studies, etc) from a recognized university.
 

ii. Applicants will have to pass a selection interview to be conducted by the Department.
