AUCC School Of Business Entry Requirements
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS (DEGREE PROGRAMMES)
The University admits all qualified students without any reference to race or ethnic origin, religious or political orientation, or nationality. The following categories of candidates are considered for admission to first degree programmes in the University.
- WASSCE/SSSCE Holders:
Passes in all four core subjects (English, Mathematics, Integrated Science and Social Studies).The aggregate must be no more than 24 and is calculated using three of the core subjects (English, Mathematics, and either Integrated Science or Social Studies) and the three best electives.

The results of all applications will be considered on the schedule provided by the West African Examinations Council.
- GCE ‘O’ and ‘A’ Levels:
Certificates should be Cambridge ‘O’ or ‘A’ Levels and not WAEC ‘O’ and ‘A’ Levels. Applicants with Cambridge ‘O’ Levels, when accepted, will be admitted to Level 100 while Cambridge ‘A’ Level applicants will be admitted to Level 200.
- International Students:
International students with qualifications equivalent to those mentioned above may be considered for admission. They must also show evidence of proficiency in English.
- Mature Candidates:
Must be Ghanaian nationals and not be less than 27 years old and must take and pass a mature candidates qualifying examination.
- Other qualifications:
The International Baccalaureate (IB), IGCSE, GCSE, the American grade 12 &13 examinations and other external qualifications which have equivalences to the SSSCE, WASSCE and the GCE.
- Candidates in possession of a Diploma:
Holders of University of Ghana Diploma or its equivalent, with Final Grade Point Average (FGPA) of 3.25 or better, eligible to apply to the same area of study. Holders of Diplomas in other areas of study must have distinction.
