Postgraduate Diploma In Public Administration. (PG-DPA)
OBJECTIVES
By the end of the course, participants would have:
- Acquired adequate preparation for the fulfillment of their administrative functions
- Acquired a firm foundation for mature personal development for future broader responsibilities
- Been exposed to the necessary knowledge and skills to enhance their overall operations effectiveness.

Emphasis is placed on the following areas;

- Strategic Management
- Public Sector Communication
- Economic Development Planning
- Quantitative Law
- Gender and Development
Research and Project Works
Electives: Participants are to select one.
- General Administration and Finance
- Human Resource Management
- Planning, Budgeting, Monitoring and Evaluation
- Research, Statistics and Information
ENTRY REQUIREMENT
Normally, general education requirement is a first degree and a Postgraduate Certificate in Public Administration (CPA). Other participants who are accepted as special cases must have a degree and meet GIMPA’s other admission requirements.
DURATION: 16 Weeks
Sessions 1: Between February and May
Sessions 2: Between September and December
Time : 8:00am-4:00pm from Monday to Friday
