Fashion design is the art of applying design, aesthetics and natural beauty to clothing and its accessories. It is influenced by cultural and social attitudes, and has varied over time and place.

The School of Fashion Design offers a four-year undergraduate course leading to the BSc. (Honours) Degree in Fashion Design
Bachelor BSc (Fashion Design) At KNUST Entry Requirement
Wassce / Sssce Applicants
Credit passes in Three (3) SSSCE/WASSCE Core Subjects; Including English Language, Mathematics, and Integrated Science or Social Studies, plus credit passes in any three (3) electives from the following disciplines: Visual Arts, Home Economics, Technical, Science, General Arts, and Business.
A /O Level Applicants
FIVE (5) credit passes at GCE O’ Level including English Language, and Mathematics, plus THREE (3) passes at the A’ Level.
Mature Applicants
Applicants must be 25 years at the time of submitting the application. In addition to passing a written and oral Examination, applicants must have;
EITHER
FIVE (5) credit passes at GCE O’ Level (or its Equivalent) including English Language and Mathematics.
OR
Credit passes in three (3) SSSCE/WASSCE core subjects including English Language, Mathematics, and Integrated Science, plus credit passes in any three (3) elective subjects from the following disciplines: Visual Arts, Home Economics, Technical, Science, General Arts, and Business.
HND And Diploma Certificate In Relevant Areas.
Applicants may be admitted to start either from the SECOND (2nd) or THIRD (3rd) year based on performance at the interview. Preference would be given to Textiles and Fashion Design Applicants.
