About LUCAS College Accra
LUCAS College Accra is a higher education institution accredited in Ghana since December 2016. Staring January 2017, it offers accredited Bachelor and Master’s programmes in educational partnership with international universities and colleges.
Overview
LUCAS is a tertiary higher education institution accredited by the Ghana National Accrediation Board (NAB) since 2016. Starting January 2017 it is offering its accredited academic programmes in Accra.
LUCAS builds on the experience of its sponsors and partners, some of whom have been in education since the middle of the 19th century. LUCAS College is affiliated to GIMPA, the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration. It is in educational partnership with international higher education institutions, including GRIFFITH College in Dublin (Ireland), PIGIER France (ISCOM, MBWay, MDS – MyDigitalSchool).
The College is an initiative of a group rooted in education and in educational projects development. This group is also allied to a team of Ghanaian experienced and reputable educators.
LUCAS stands for Leadership University College for Applied Sciences. It is defined by its global outlook, its practical idealism and its passion for education and sharing. Its strengths are grounded in social responsibility and a commitment to cultural and intellectual diversity.
Meant to be a permanent bridge between academia and the professional world, LUCAS offers professionally-oriented programmes on a lifelong basis through college programmes, adult trainings and seminars, as well as support to small and medium-sized enterprises.
