The Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) nurtures technically grounded leaders and innovators for society and is established in collaboration with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Zhejiang University.

The Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) was established in 2009 to provide an industry-focused university education for polytechnic upgraders, in partnership with renowned overseas universities. SIT is the newest addition to the university landscape and will offer its own applied degrees for the first time starting 2014.
