The Department is currently developing links with the Department of Medical Laboratory Science of the College of Health Science of the University of Ghana and the School of Biomedical Science of the University of Westminster. UK.

Dr. Caroline Smith and Dr Martin Parry of the University of Westminster visited the Department as a follow-up to an earlier visit to the UK by Mr. Clement Opoku-Okrah toestablish a link between the Departments of Biomedical Science, University of Westminster. (UK) and the Department of Biomedical Engineering (KNUST).
