Master of Religious Education Colleges and Universities in Ghana

The Master of Religious Education (MRE) is a terminal academic degree in preparation for professional teaching ministry, usually offered by Christian institutions. The curriculum includes two years of theological study and sometimes a thesis.

Entry Requirements

• Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any field of study.

• Candidates may be asked to do a preparatory course if they do not have an accredited qualification in Theology.

• International applicants must have qualifications equivalent to the above to be considered for admission. Their results must also be translated into English and they should be able to read and write in English.

• All potential students will be invited for an interview.
