Passing out ceremony for 100,000 NABCO Trainees

On Wednesday, 17th October, 2018, I declared the one hundred thousand (100,000) trainees recruited under the Nation Builders Corps programme ready for work.

They are going to assist in the realisation of Government’s vision of an educated population, an industrialised, robust and well-manged economy, the delivery of good governance, and, for the sustenance of all these, a reliable, skilled and efficient workforce.

The President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, passed out 100,000 trainees under the Nation Builders Corps (NABCO).

NABCO is an innovative means of providing an opportunity for the country’s teeming unemployed graduates to gain on-the-job experience and receive stipends at the same time.

Engaged under various modules – Educate Ghana, Heal Ghana, Digitise Ghana, Enterprise Ghana, Civic Ghana, Feed Ghana and Revenue Ghana – the NABCO beneficiaries will be posted across the country, with every constituency receiving a minimum of 350 graduates.

This is yet another example of the innovative ways of governance being implemented by President Akufo-Addo to take Ghana to the next level of her development.

Let us all come together and help build mother Ghana.
