Career Development Unit
The University College of Management Studies (UCOMS) through its Career Development Unit is dedicated to helping students work out what they want to do for a satisfying and enjoyable career. Seminars are organised on how to write a CV, provides information and advice about specific careers and works with the Ghana Employers Association and Ghana-France Chamber of SEARCH FOR WISDOM EMPLOYMENT PROSPECT OF OUR STUDENTS Commerce to offer Job Vacancies and opportunities.

Career Opportunities
The Programmes offered are excellent preparation for a career within the business sector. Graduates find work in the government and private establishments such as the Security Agencies: The Armed Forces, Police Service, Fire Service Immigration Service, Prison Service, CEPS, Airlines, Mining and much more attraction from the Oil and Gas Industry booming in the Country with emphasis on procurement and logistics not excluding Multi-national Firms and International Offices such as ECOWAS, African Union (AU), and the United Nations Agencies. Our Programmes are also excellent preparations for further studies from Masters to Ph.D. It further allow you to obtain maximum exemptions from the outstanding professional examining bodies such as ACCA, CIMA, CA (Gh.), CIPS, CIB, CIM and others depending on the option’s taken.

Work Experience and Voluntary Clubs
Students are encouraged to get involved in voluntary and community activities such as Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE) and AIESEC which provide a great way to develop students managerial and supervisory skills, gain experience in competitive sectors and make a difference. Students are encouraged to solve practical business challenges through Case Studies.
