University of Electronic Science of China (UESTC) Delegation in 2017 Calls on the Vice-Chancellor of University for Development Studies (UDS)
A Delegation from the University of Electronic Science of China led by Prof. Qin Zhinguang has paid a courtesy call on the Vice-Chancellor of UDS, Prof. G.A. Teye at the Central Administration, Tamale Campus. The Delegation was in Ghana to participate in an international academic exchange workshop at the Navrongo Campus of UDS. The workshop was a continuation of the first UESTC- Africa workshop on information and software engineering personnel training and academic research, which was held in June, 2017 in Chengdu, China.
Prof. Teye commended the Management of UESTC for their invaluable contribution towards the human resource capacity building efforts of UDS, noting that the collaboration between the two institutions has so far yielded maximum benefits. He urged the UESTC Team to consider establishing a computer assembling plant on the Navrongo campus of UDS.
The Delegation was accompanied by Bishop Dr. Albert Luguterah, Dean of the Faculty of Mathematical Sciences.
