Pent Asset and Wealth Management Limited awards Seven (7) University of Education Students

Seven (7) undergraduate students of the University of Education, Winneba have been awarded scholarships by Pent Asset and Wealth Management Limited as part of their corporate social responsibility to support the development of education in Ghana. The awards cover the payment of the tuition fees of the beneficiaries for the entire four years of their studies.

The Ag. Vice-Chancellor, Rev. Fr. Prof. Anthony Afful-Broni in a speech read on his behalf by Prof. Samuel Asiedu-Addo expressed his gratitude to the donors on behalf of staff and management of the institution for their kind gesture, adding that “this will go a long way to augment existing scholarship schemes to promote academic excellence in UEW”.

Professor Samuel Kwesi Aseidu Addo in his remarks showed his appreciation to the donors, Heads of Department present, Head of Gender Mainstreaming Directorate and the Organizing Committee for their immense contribution to the progress of the institution and the nation at large. He urged students to give back to society when the need arises.

The Chief Executive Officer of Pent Asset and Wealth Management Limited, Mrs. Charity Insaidoo-Agbekey, explained that the Pent Scholarship Programme was a way to enrich and strengthen the training and development of brilliant but needy students. She added further that “the laudable scholarship concept initiated by management of Pent is to help increase students’ engagement in their pursuit for academic excellence”.

She urged awardees to exhibit great leadership skills, maintain excellent academic performance, be committed to improving themselves, and be brand ambassadors of Pent.
