Mauritius – Africa Scholarship Scheme 2019

The Government of the Republic of Mauritius is offering scholarships for full-time, on campus undergraduate studies in Public Higher Education Institutions (HEI’s) in Mauritius to qualified Ghanaians for the 2019/2020 academic year.

ELIGIBILITY:

Candidates must satisfy the following requirements:

  1. Be Ghanaian citizens resident in Ghana.
  2. Not below 18 years and not more than 26 years of age for undergraduate studies, Not More than 34 years for Masters and Not more than 44 years for PhD.
  3. Must have already applied for a full-time on-campus programme at a public Higher Education Institution (HEI) in Mauritius starting in 2019.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

  1. The application form can be downloaded from the website below;

  1. All candidates must also apply for a full-time on-campus programme at a public HEI of their choice listed below;
  2. Obtain a conditional offer (letter of admission) from the chosen institution or acknowledgement notice from the institution as having applied for a place.
  3. ALL candidates must submit the fully completed Application Form, Evidence of enrolment or application for enrolment in a public HEI and certified copies of the following documents to the Scholarships Secretariat:
  1. Birth Certificate;
  2. Educational certificates and transcripts.
  3. Medical certificate to be filled and stamped by a registered medical practitioner in SECTION SIX of the Application Form;
  4. Copy of passport biodata page, if available.
  5. Study/Research plan (Postgraduate applicants)

 CLOSING DATE

The closing date for submission to the Scholarships Secretariat is Friday15Th February, 2019 (for March intake) and Friday 12Th April, 2019 (for August intake)
