Francophone MEST Students Awarded Certificates For Successful Completion of English Course At Lancaster University, Ghana (LUG)

Friday 4th August, 2017 marked the end of Lancaster University Ghana’s tutoring of Basic Conversational English to five Francophone students from Ivory Coast.
The three-week course formed part of their immersion programme at the Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology (MEST) in East Legon, Accra.
The students were awarded certificates of participation after each of them had an opportunity to show their basic English conversational skills in a 5 minute presentation on their business start-up ideas. They identified an existing problem or need and gave a proposed plan for how their start up would solve that problem.
The students who took the course are:
– Mohamed Bakayoko
 Dexter Ouattara
– Yannick-Noel Aka
– Alex Gbetie
– Charlette N’Guessan
After their presentations, certificates were presented by Tod Holcombe, senior faculty at MEST.
Congratulations to these students for their successful completion of the course. We hope you continue to practise all the skills you learnt at LUG!
