What Is Air Cooler?
Air cooling is a process of lowering air temperature by dissipating heat. It provides increased air flow and reduced temperatures with the use of cooling fins, fans or finned coils that move the heat out of a casing such as a computer case.
The technique involves increased airflow over the target that needs to cooled, or increasing the surface area of the object to help disburse heat. Sometimes both techniques are used.
What is air cooler used for?
Air coolers circulate fresh air as they pull hot air from outside and then cool it down. In addition, the circulated air is filtered, moist and easy to breathe and it also keeps your skin hydrated. On the other hand, ACs circulate the same stale air present inside the room.
How Does Air Cooler Work?
An air cooler has three main parts; a water tank, an absorbent sheet, and a fan. You fill the tank with cold water and let the absorbent sheet soak it up. As the water evaporates from the sheet, it cools the air around it. This newly-cooled air is blown out into your room by the fan for a natural, refreshing breeze.
Does air cooler consume more electricity?
Air coolers consume up to 10 times less energy than ACs. They consume less electricity and can also work in low voltage areas. Monthly electricity / power bills are significantly lower.
