Department of Hospitality and Tourism Education
Introduction
The Department of Hospitality and Tourism Education currently runs the Catering and Hospitality component programmes of the College of Technology Education.
Mission
The Department aims at equipping both professional and non-professional Vocational Teachers with the requisite knowledge, skills and pedagogy that would enable them to teach effectively at the various levels of education.

- Tech. Ed. (Catering and Hospitality) – Sandwich
Staffing
The total staff strength of the Department during the year under review is six. This includes three full-time lecturers, one part-time and one supporting staff. One teaching staff is on study leave.
Achievement
Practical Training room
During the period under review the Department was able to secure a practical training room and this has increased the number of times students undertake practicals in the Department.
Activity
The Department organised a Food Bazaar to showcase indigenous food products developed by students.
