Taxation at University Of Ghana
The course seeks to present the subject matter of Taxation as a major fiscal tool for socioeconomic
management at the macro, corporate and individual financial management levels. The
conflicting social, economic and political interests that impact tax policies will also be examined.
The course will expose students to the persons, incomes and transactions subject to tax. Tax
administration and improving tax revenue in Ghana as well as the offences and penalties under the
Tax Laws of Ghana will also be examined.
