Environmental Management is a complex task – one that requires a new generation of managers who
are equipped with both traditional business skills and training specific to the environmental challenges
that most businesses face. The Environmental Management course is designed to provide students
with such training and to offer constructive entrepreneurial approaches to environmental and natural
resource issues. The course applies functional management skills to environmental concerns such as
clean air, clean water, solid and hazardous waste generation and disposal, and endangered species
protection.
