PROGRAMME OVERVIEW

The Nursing Programme of Christian Service University College aims at affecting the individual personality positively, preparing him/her adequately to qualify for certification and registration with the Nursing and Midwives Council of Ghana and empowering him/her to and within ethical and legal framework, to contribute to the body of knowledge of nursing through life-long learning for professional excellence and research. The programme was accredited by the National Accreditation Board on 1ST JULY, 2011.

It is expected that the special training provided by the Department of Nursing of the Christian Service University College would enable the graduate nurse function as a care giver, a teacher, counsellor, a manager, a leader, or a research person at all levels in the health delivery system, i.e. primary, secondary and tertiary.

 

PROGRAMME AIMS

 

The aim of the programme is to train first degree holders in Nursing, who will demonstrate spiritual maturity, moral integrity, academic excellence, and professional competence in the health sector.
