UHAS Receives Vehicle From Government

The University of Health and Allied Sciences has received a 66 seater Eicher Bus and a Nissan Navarra double cabin pick-up from the Government of Ghana to help in effective management.

The donation forms part of 300 buses and 200 double cabin pick-ups President John Dramani Mahama presented to some selected Senior High Schools (SHSs), Technical/Vocational Schools, Special Schools, Polytechnics, Public and Private Universities, Colleges of Education and District Education Offices across the country. The buses were donated to enhance the quality of teaching and learning including supervision.

Addressing a section of the benefactors during the presentation at the Independence Square in Accra, President Mahama urged the beneficiaries to take good care of the buses. He added that to ensure that the facilities’ last their life span, drivers of the various beneficiary institutions will go through special driving and maintenance lessons.
