KNUST : Statistical Applications in Modern Research
Course Objective and Content
This course is designed for researchers, professionals and postgraduate students who have interest in the use of statistics in everyday life. The course will involve a hands-on training experience using an open source software called RStudio. Participants will be introduced to the use of this software packages for data analysis. The key statistical methods to consider includes multiple regression analysis, logistic regression, some multivariate techniques and time series analysis.
Target Audience
The course is open to Researchers, Academics, Research and Development Officers, Project Managers, Industry Professionals, Monitoring and Evaluation Officers, Data Analysts, Quality Assurance Officers and Postgraduate students.
Course fees
The course fee is Seven Hundred Ghana Cedis (GHS700) covering lunch, snacks and training materials. Fees for male and female postgraduate students are GHC200 and GHC150 respectively. Participants are to cater for their own accommodation during the training. Certificates will be awarded after course completion.
