Is d7 accepted in University of Ghana?
Currently, public universities in Ghana don’t accept D7 for core subjects in their admission process. The core subjects are mathematics, integrated Science, English, and social studies.
The minimum grade or score acceptable for admission into public universities in Ghana is c6 or better.
What should I Do With D7, E8, or F9 grade?
The answer boils down to the course you want to study, with d7, e8, or f9 in your best six subjects used to apply for admission, it is 99% not possible to gain admission into any public university in Ghana.
Option 1: Register for novdec to better the bad grades and reapply for admission at the public universities.
Option 2: Some private universities give the opportunity to student with poor grades to better them after they have given admission. This system requires the student to better their grades before they can graduate from the university.
Option 3: D7 and E8 can be accepted in some tertiary public schools like the nursing training colleges and some teacher training colleges for diploma certificates.
Options 4: Mature students are people applying for admission at 25years and above. These people are given special criteria where they write entrance exams and are accepted after they pass this entrance examination.
