GIS/GPS Training for Scientists and Engineers
The current trend in science and engineering is the use of geospatial data to support scientific and engineering work. Collection geospatial data, analysis and processing require some skills in the field and behind your computer. The training would enable participants to acquire a hands-on experience on the use of hand-held GPS and how to retrieve the data for further processing in open-source GIS software.
TARGET GROUP
The workshop is targeted at tertiary students and faculty members who wish to use GPS and GIS technology for their research and future career development.

Date: 11th -12th April 2016; 5pm to 8pm
The total cost of training is GHC 250.00 to cover registration fees, snack and a certificate.
