UPSA Matriculation Ceremony for Undergraduate & Diploma Students

MATRICULATION CEREMONY FOR UNDERGRADUATE AND DIPLOMA STUDENTS

This comes to remind all undergraduate and diploma fresh students that the Matriculation Ceremony to formally admit them into the University has now been scheduled as follows:

Date: 8th April

Venue: Kofi Ohene-Konadu Auditorium

A representative group of fresh students has been selected to attend the ceremony in person while the rest will join the event online via the University’s Facebook and YouTube handles. All fresh students are required to be available for the ceremony at 9.00 a.m.

Please note that it is compulsory for every student enrolled in UPSA for the first time to go through the rites of Matriculation and sign the Matriculation Oath. Any undergraduate and diploma Fresh student who fails to avail himself/herself of the matriculation process will not be recognized as a student of the University.

Fresh students are expected to affirm the matriculation oath online by following the link on their USIS students’ portal. Students are required to print out a proof of affirmation of matriculation oath slip and append their signature to it for submission to their various Deans after the Matriculation Ceremony.

Fresh students will also take the Matriculation Oath during the Ceremony.

The prescribed attire for the ceremony is formal dress. In-person attendees are to note that no well-wishers including parents are invited to this ceremony. All students must endeavor to comply with Covid-19 prevention protocols.
