University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) 2018 Registration and Reviewing of Suppliers, Contractors, Consultants and other Service Providers

University of Health and Allied Sciences

In accordance with Section 3 of the Public Procurement Act 663, 2003, (Amendment) ACT, 2016 (ACT 914), University Of Health And Allied Sciences (UHAS) wishes to register and review eligible Suppliers, Contractors, Consultants and other Service Providers for the year 2018 to supply general goods, works and render varied services when necessary through a registration process. The suppliers of goods, works and services required include but not limited to the list below:

    1. Stationery and Office Consumables
    2. ICT/Security Equipment and Consumables
    3. Office equipment (Computers and accessories, fax machines, Scanners, Comb binders, telephones, photocopiers, shredders, etc )
    4. Office Furniture and Fittings
    5. Printing and Publications
    6. Building/Construction Materials and Equipment
    7. Detergents/Disinfectants/Sanitary/Cleaning Materials
    8. Safety materials and equipment
    9. Electrical and Electronics Equipment (including fridges, air conditioners, TV, etc )
    10. Electrical and Plumbing Materials
    11. Interior Decorations (Curtains and Vertical blinds, upholstery materials, floor carpets and others)
    12. Essential Medicines
    13. Automobile/Vehicle Parts (including vehicle tyres, batteries, vehicle accessories, etc )
    14. Uniforms and Protective Clothing
    15. Medical/Laboratory Equipment and Consumables
    16. Sports and Recreational Equipment/Consumables
  2. WORKS
    1. Civil works
    2. Electrical works
    3. Plumbing and Sewerage works
    4. Painting and interior decoration works
    5. Land Surveying/Landscaping Works
    6. Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Works
    7. Cladding and Steel (Metal) Works
  3. CONSULTANCY
    1. Management/Financial Consultancy
    2. Individual Consultancy (Various)
    3. Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural, Structural, Geotechnical Firms )
    4. ICT Consultancy
    5. Project Management
    6. Medical/Scientific Research Consultancy
    7. Estate/Valuation Consultancy
  4. SERVICES
    1. Vehicle Maintenance
    2. Vehicle Hiring
    3. Horticulture Services
    4. Cleaning Services and Vehicle washing
    5. Media Services
    6. Security Services
    7. Pest Control Services
    8. Event Management Services
    9. Travel and Tour Services
    10. Hotel and Conference Facility Providers
    11. Office Equipment Maintenance

Interested eligible Firms/Individuals may obtain further information and inspect the prequalification document at the Procurement Office from 9:00am – 400pm GMT, Monday – Friday on only week days from date of publication in the Newspapers.
Existing Suppliers, Contractors, Consultants and Service Providers are also required to reregister and resubmit updated information on their companies.
A complete set of documents may be purchased by existing and potential interested firms on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Two Hundred Ghana Cedis only (GH¢200.00 ). Payment must be made in the name of University Of Health And Allied Sciences by Bankers Draft from any bank for each set of the document.
Interested Suppliers, Contractors, Consultant and Service Providers will complete a form and attached the under-listed documents, where applicable for submission:

  1. Letter of Introduction indicating major product/business line
  2. Business Registration Certificate
  3. Valid Tax Clearance Certificate
  4. Valid SSNIT Clearance Certificate
  5. Ministry of Works and Housing Certificate (Works)
  6. Labour Certificate (Works)
  7. VAT/GRA Registration Certificate

Application for prequalification should be submitted in sealed envelopes and delivered to the address below (opposite Ho public cemetery, Dave) by 5:00pm on Friday, March 30, 2018 and be clearly marked “Compilation of a Database of Suppliers,  Contractors, Consultants and Service Providers’’.
