Mr. Nii Adotei Abrahams is an Industrial and Organizational Psychologist with a special interest in Human Resource Management. He attended the University of Ghana for both his undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications and holds the Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Sociology (1990) and the Master of Arts degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology (1992) which he completed in December 1992.

Mr. Abrahams began his career as a higher education administrator in January, 1994 when he was appointed as a Junior Assistant Registrar at the University for Development Studies (UDS), Tamale. He was promoted to the rank of Assistant Registrar in 1996 and worked in this position till his exit from the UDS in 2001. Although he was mainly responsible for the human resource function at the UDS, Mr. Abrahams doubled as Faculty Officer for the Faculties of Agriculture, Integrated Development Studies, Applied Sciences and the School of Medicine and Health Sciences at various points in time at the then fledgling University.

After 8 years of service at the UDS, Mr. Abrahams moved to the National Council for Tertiary Education (NCTE) when he was appointed as Assistant Secretary in charge of Human Resources in October, 2001. He served in this position for 6 years after which he was promoted to the position of Senior Assistant Secretary in 2007. His distinctive performance in this role culminated in his appointment as the Head of Corporate Affairs at the NCTE, a position he occupied from April, 2011 until his recent appointment as the Registrar of Ghana Technology University College (GTUC).

Over the years, Mr. Abrahams has served on over 60 Boards and Committees, chairing a significant number of them. In addition, Mr. Abrahams has exhibited his adept writing skills by producing over 25 Memoranda and reports, as well as attending a number of local and international conferences in countries such as Australia, Namibia and Germany.

With over 25 years of experience in university and higher/tertiary education administration and management, Mr. Nii Adotei Abrahams has amassed a wealth of knowledge as a highly skilled and dynamic administrator. He is a member of the Institute of Human Resource Management Practitioners, Ghana (IHRMP) and the Ghana Institute of Management (GIM). He is also an ardent lover of football, hockey, Formula One racing and all genre of music.

Mr. Abrahams is proud ODADEE (1983 Year group) and a true VANDAL.
