The 1994-Year Group of the Land Economy Department of the College of Art and Built Environment (CABE), KNUST, has donated two Intel Dual Core, 4GB RAM Lenovo laptops, a 65-inch Smart Television and an EPSON projector with a wall mount screen to the Department.

The items were donated on behalf of the group by Mr. Ishmael Edjeikumhene, Executive Director of KITE, Mr. Charles Gyapong, CEO of TF Properties and Mrs. Theodora Mantebea Mends of the Lands Commission.

Mr. Edjeikumhene noted that the donation was to aid audio-visual teaching and learning in the department. He added that the class was committed to meeting the needs of the department and so pledge their continual support where necessary. He urged other alumni to emulate the act and give-back to their departments.

The Dean of Faculty of Built Environment, Professor Samuel Amos-Abanyie, in his remarks, was of the view that the items were necessary at this time considering the fact that the coronavirus pandemic has forced universities to embrace e-learning. He was hopeful that the donations would facilitate teaching in the department.

The Head of the Department of Land Economy, Dr. Eric P. Tudzi, extended his gratitude to the 1994-year group for their generous act. He promised that the department would utilize the items for their intended purposes.
