VACANCY FOR SENIOR STAFF POSITION
Applications are being invited from suitably qualified individuals for the following position in the Student Affairs Unit of the University.
Position 1: Sports Coach
Reporting to: Dean of Students
Qualifications
The successful applicant must:
a. Possess a relevant Bachelor’s degree awarded by a recognised university. Other relevant certificates in coaching will be an added advantage.
OR
b. Have a tertiary diploma awarded by a recognised institution.
c. In all cases, candidates must be computer literate.
Duties
The successful candidate shall:
- Be responsible for training of sportsmen/women in field/track/basket games
- Be responsible for organising sporting activities among students.
- Be responsible for the maintenance of sports equipment and facilities
- Embark on education of students on the benefits of sports.
- Perform any other duty assign to him/her by the Dean of Students or anyone appointed to act on his behalf.
